Laser North, a laser cutting and fabrication specialist, is hiring Production, MIG and TIG Welders to join their team in Baraga, Michigan. As a Welder, you’ll play a vital role in fitting and welding components to produce top-quality products with precision and efficiency. What We Offer:
- Production Welder: $24 – $30 per hour based on skills and experience.
- MIG Welder: $26 – $32 per hour based on skills and experience.
- TIG Welder: $26 – $32 per hour based on skills and experience.

What You Will Do:
- Maintain effective welding operations to meet customer demands and provide on-time delivery.
- Fabricate complex weldments per customer requirements and specifications.
- Take ownership of organizing and cleaning specified work areas in the welding department.
- Take the initiative to help other production areas as needed.
- Communicate with the Leadership Team when necessary.
What We Are Looking For:
- Self-motivation and an excellent work ethic are required.
- 1 or more years of professional welding experience preferred.
- Possess a welding certification, or the ability to become AWS certified.
- You should be able to read and understand welding blueprints.
- Experience utilizing precise measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Ability to balance a sense of urgency while maintaining the highest level of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Adhere to business rules, safe work practices, and proper lifting techniques is required.
